Due to growing demand, we’re recruiting a Field Service Engineer to support our customers—primarily in the North of Scotland, with the opportunity for occasional travel across the country.

What You’ll Do
In this dynamic role, you’ll:
- Service, maintain, and repair compressed air systems, gas generators (nitrogen/oxygen), dryers, and vacuum pumps.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, respond to service calls, and support customers across a range of industries.
- Work independently in the field, with strong remote support and ongoing training from our experienced team.
- Represent BRE with professionalism, offering advice, insights, and technical support to our valued clients.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re interested in hearing from:
- Motivated individuals with transferable skills in maintenance engineering who are looking to step into a specialised sector.
- Field Service Engineers with experience in compressed air systems or similar industrial equipment.
- Technicians from mechanical or electrical engineering backgrounds seeking a more autonomous or client-facing role.
- Experienced Engineers with diesel and plant experience
Ideal candidates will have:
- A full Clean UK driving license (essential).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. (essential)
- Excellent time management and a proactive, solutions-based attitude.(essential)
- Good interpersonal skills—you’ll be the face of BRE for many clients. (essential)
- Experience with industrial machinery or compressed air systems. (nice to have)
