Twin Tower Heatless BD Dryer
Atlas Copco’s BD+ Twin Tower heated desiccant dryer range offers dry compressed air to -40 or -70 degrees C at increased flow rates while providing premium performance and cost-efficacy in comparison to heatless desiccant dryer systems.
A heatless desiccant air dryer is more expensive to own due to it using a high amount of compressed air for purging during tower regeneration. Typically, heatless desiccant dryers use 16 to 19% of the rated flow capacity. The BD+ utilizes a low wattage density heater to regenerate each desiccant tower after use. This means we can reduce the amount of required purging from compressed air, in turn reducing the energy costs associated.
The dryer design incorporates only the highest quality parts including stainless steel valves and upsized silencers to ensure long service life.
The CD+ twin tower also comes standard with both inlet and outlet filtration providing a true plug and play air quality package.
The dryer is also available with pressure dew point dependant switching which allows for a much more energy-efficient operation.
